The Moon Is Not Just a Phase

How lunar wisdom reveals your emotional truth, shadow patterns, and sacred timing

We often say “it’s just a phase” to downplay discomfort, explain away moods, or wait for things to pass.

But the Moon reminds us:
Phases aren’t meant to be dismissed — they’re meant to be honored.

Every phase is necessary.
Every turn of the Moon is an invitation to return to ourselves.

And in the mirror of the Moon, nothing is too much. Nothing is too messy. Nothing is too late.

🌑 The Moon as a Mirror

In astrology, your Moon sign reveals your emotional instinct — the raw, tender way you love, need, grieve, and protect.

But beyond your birth Moon lies a deeper story: your Shadow Moon — the sign directly opposite your natal Moon.

Your Shadow Moon holds the emotion you were taught to suppress.
It contains unmet needs, hidden coping strategies, and emotional survival patterns.
Not to shame you — but to show you what still needs softness, safety, and space to breathe.

🦂 My Scorpio Moon & the Call to Shadow Work

I was born with a Scorpio Moon, and for most of my life, I felt everything so deeply — yet rarely felt safe enough to express it.

Because the Moon reflects the part of us that society often tells us to suppress. And I did just that.

I buried my sadness. My grief.
Anytime I felt hurt, frustrated, or vulnerable, I locked it away.
I was taught — like many of us — that tears were weakness, that sensitivity was dangerous.
By grade school, I had trained myself not to cry.
And for years, I didn’t.

Until life cracked me open.

During my Saturn Return — and more specifically, the start of my progressed lunar return in Scorpio — my world collapsed. In just a few months, everything unraveled.

It began with betrayal and loss in my friendships.
I left a relationship with a narcissist at a time when I didn’t even have language for what was happening.
And then came the blow that shattered everything:
My mother was murdered at the hands of my own father.

That loss changed me forever.

I moved away from California to Texas, trying to rebuild.
But not long after, one of my younger brothers died in a motorcycle accident.
That was my descent into the underworld. The true night of the soul.

In that space, I was forced to feel everything I had buried, not just the grief of the moment, but the pain of years past.

And when I emerged, I was not the same.

The world didn’t know what to do with my grief, my intensity, or my depth.
And for a while, I felt like I had to shrink again — to make others comfortable with my pain.

But I no longer could.

Because the deeper I walked into my emotions, the more I understood:

Shadow isn’t where we’re broken — it’s where we’re buried.

And I’ve been called to help others unearth what’s been waiting to be remembered within them, too.

If you’ve felt the ache of being misunderstood, too sensitive, or too much

I see you. ✨👁✨

This work is for you.

🦋 The Flower Moon & the Scorpio Full Moon

This week, we welcome the Full Moon in Scorpio — also known as the Flower Moon.

Scorpio is astrology’s underworld guide — the keepers of secrets, emotional depth, and transformation through shadow.
Taurus season, in contrast, grounds us in the tangible, in beauty, in blooming.

Together, they remind us:

🌸 Healing is not just about digging — it’s about blossoming.
💀 Shadow work is not just about purging — it’s about reclaiming.
🌕 The parts of us we’ve buried are ready to bloom, too.

The Flower Moon invites you to tend to the seeds of your emotional truth — even the ones planted in grief, guilt, or guardedness.
Because under Scorpio’s light, what once felt too much becomes fertile ground for transformation.
